This 10" square original acrylic was painted on gallery wrapped birch panel. The sides are 1.5" thick and the image is painted around the sides as well.
 
The painting depicts a lovely fall day at Gap Lake near Canmore, Alberta. The autumn foliage create a frame that invites viewers to the lake and mountain beyond.
